Tau Chapter

AGO brothers, alumni, and friends after dinner with SCU President Fr. Michael Engh

The SCU Chapter of Alpha Gamma Omega is Santa Clara University’s only Christian fraternity. It was chartered on June 2, 2013, by eleven undergraduates who wanted stronger ties and deeper brotherly connections than the community of Christian men at SCU could offer.

Tau Chapter is currently ten members strong and we are always looking for more men to join us in this life-changing brotherhood. The brothers participate in campus outreach, on-campus fellowships, and local churches. We strive to center our lives on Christ and to deepen each other’s spiritual lives. The brotherhood is well known for handing out free pancakes and water bottles to students on party nights. In this way and many others, we strive to share God’s love for us with the rest of the students at SCU.

Fraternity Purposes

  1. To win others to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ
  2. Promote Christian Fellowship
  3. Present Christian ideals in word and deed
  4. Search reverently for the truth
  5. Uphold the traditions and ideals of the University
  6. Deepen the spiritual lives of the members
