About Alpha Gamma Omega at SCU

Leadership Retreat 2016

Alpha Gamma Omega is a National Christian social fraternity. Established in 1927 at UCLA, we now have chapters at universities in California, Colorado, North Carolina, Virginia, and Pennsylvania. AGO acts as a bridge that maintains and strengthens relationships with both God and other brothers in Christ. Along with campus outreach, we commit to building one another up as we strive to glorify God in every aspect of our lives. Furthermore, AGO provides an opportunity for young men to grow in their relationship with God and each other through Bible studies, accountability groups, and retreats. AGO is a core where lifelong friendships are forged. AGO is a place of spiritual growth and maturity and is a home away from home. If you’d like to learn more, click here.

About Tau Chapter

The brothers and alumni at “Golden Tiger’s” wedding

The SCU Chapter of Alpha Gamma Omega is Santa Clara University’s only Christian fraternity and was chartered on June 2, 2013, by eleven Christian young men. Tau Chapter is currently ten members strong and we are always looking for more men to contribute to this life-changing brotherhood. The brothers here at SCU are actively participate in campus outreach, on-campus fellowships, and local churches. We strive to center our lives on Christ and to deepen each other’s spiritual lives. The brotherhood is well known for handing out free pancakes and water bottles to students on party nights. In this way and many others, we strive to share God’s love for us with the rest of the students at SCU.
